STAFFORD Town Dragons under-16s disabled team were in good form in their latest group matches.

Matthew Kirkham struck two goals as the Dragons opened with a 3-2 success against Sky Blues, with Sam Caswell adding the third.
Although they went down 1- 0 against Aston Villa, the Dragons hit back with wins against SCA All Stars 3-1 and Kewford 3-2. On the mark for the Dragons were Alistair Roberts, Joshua Preston, Kirkham and Caswell (both two).
After suffering a 5-0 defeat against Villa, the Dragons rounded off their fixtures with two further wins, against SCA 1-0 and Sky Blues 4-1, goals from Preston (two), Caswell, Kirkham and Roberts. Bradley Heath was Dragons’ star player.
In the U13 age group, Dragons lost to Sky Blues and Aston Villa twice. The Stafford team’s player of the tournament was Ryan Barker.
