ECCLESHALL Colts rugby team recorded an emphatic 52-0 victory at Burnley on Sunday.

An early try from Ollie Jones set the tone for what was to be a fantastic performance from him and the Colts, scoring in under a minute after recieving a well placed pass.
Darcy Turner added another five points ten minutes later, which BradSentence duly converted.
There was to be a second try for Jones ten minutes later, followed by Bryn Judge five minutes from half-time.
Both were converted by the reliable Sentence.
Another try came from Nick Bingham within three minutes of the half-time whistle, with Sentence getting two more points for Eccleshall from the conversion.
Burnley then began to exert some pressure but Eccleshall broke from defence and Jones left three Burnley players trailing as he went over again to add another five points. Sentence converted, meaning Eccleshall lead 40-0 going into half-time.
Just a minute into the second half Sentence added a try to his tally of points and converted off the left upright.
Turner was able to score Eccleshall’s second try of the half in the sixty-fourth minute, however Sentence uncharacteristically missed the conversion.
With Burnley having played most of the match in their own half and not registered a single point the decision was made to call the match off with 15 minutes still to play.
