STONE Old Alleynians picked up a point in a six-goal thriller away to sixth place Mahal on Saturday.

After a bright start the Old Boys were pegged back when Mahal opened the scoring on six minutes and netted a second with 20 minutes gone. Stone OA cut the deficit before half-time when Luke Askey rounded the Mahal keeper.
The Old Boys levelled just after the break through Carl Dibden, then took the lead when Danny Heard netted.
But Stone OA, whose next match is away to St Martins (March 16), were denied the win when Mahal struck a late equaliser.
