HORNS B consolidated second spot in the Newport and District Pool League with a 5-1 away win over local rivals Junction A (Norbury).
George Allen and Colin Pink gave Horns a good start before Mick Manning and Neil Dale secured win number nine of 12 for the Gnosall team.
Three other local teams were on the receiving end, including the Navigation (Gnosall) who went down 4-2 at the Sutherland Arms.
Junction B suffered a sixth defeat, 5-1 away to mid-table Shakespeare A, while leaders NRBL A whitewashed Horns A 6-0.
