HORNS B retained their slender lead at the head of the Newport and District Pool League with a 5-1 home win over previously unbeaten Kings Head A.
Improving Navigation picked up a well-earned point when holding seventh place neighbours Junction A to a 3-3 draw. Junction B had to settle for the same scoreline at home to Sutherland Tibberton.
