FOR the second week running Phoenix Blues ladies HC took to the pitch with depleted ranks.
Lichfield dominated the first half of this match but it was 25 minutes before they managed to find the net.
The Blues finally responded and enjoyed the best period of the game but it was Lichfield who broke away and scored their second just before the break.
Excellent defending enabled the Blues to hold out until the very last minute when second place Lichfield struck their third goal of the afternoon for a well deserved victory.
