STAFFORD Town Ladies recovered from a disappointing run of results to crush Leek 10-0.
There was also a busy weekend for Town’s disability teams, Stafford Dragons, who took in a mini tournament at Aston Villa Academy.
The under-13s lost all four fixtures, going down to Aston Villa (3-0, 3-0), Sky Blues (5-1, 4-1). Dragons’ two goals were both scored by Jack Preston.
In the under-16 event, Dragons also played four matches, winning two and drawing two.
Victories came against Kewford (2-1) and SCA A (2-1), with goals from Matthew Kirkham (two), Jordan Wright and Liam Collins. Dragons also lost to Aston Villa and Coventry.
