STAFFORD Ladies claimed the points when running out 46-30 winners over Kingfisher Gems, in the Stafford and District Netball league division one.

There was a fast pace to the start of the game with both teams working hard to dominate. Excellent tactical moves by player of the match Esther Rutherford (WD) saw the Ladies edge ahead.
Despite some good interceptions by the Gems, in particular star player Kara Jones (GK), the Ladies emerged victors.
In a mid-table clash, Ladybirds triumphed 33-24 against Touchstone.
Ladybirds began to pull away in the first quarter with some strong centre court play by player of the match Emma Clay (C). Heather Stone (GD) excelled for Touchstone.
In a basement encounter Sapphires edged home 25-22 against fellow strugglers Freedom.
Both teams fought for every point and Amy Bradburn (C) showed early on for Freedom, while Georgia Stanway (GD) took the star player award for the winners.
