IT was a weekend of success for members of Cannock and Stafford AC, indoors and out! In the Midland Indoor Championships at the NIA on Friday, Chloe Wilde was crown champion over 800m (U15s).

Both she and team mate Elisha Walker qualified for the final and Wilde came off the final bend in a battle with main rival Ruth Goodall (Corby), grabbing victory in a personal best indoor time of 2.25.79, with Walker fifth in 2.29.50.
Back to Birmingham and at Perry Park in the final West Midlands Youth Athletes Cross Country league event, C and S secured two team and three individual awards.
Iris Davies finished an excellent third place overall in the U13s, having been sixth on the day, from Walker 8th, Rachael Jones 36th, Jessica and Sophie Ward 68th and 74th for team bronze.
The U11 girls took a creditable third, thanks to Olivia Osborne 9th (sixth place award overall), Isabelle Kelly 22nd, Jessica Harrison 25th, Scarlet Richards 84th and Elizabeth Aston 79th.
There was a fourth place overall award for Harry Hardy-Smith in the U13 boys competition. In the U15 race series Ryan Ashforth was seventh overall.
