MIDLAND club runners have dominated the last five Stafford half marathon races.
Overall winner in 2008 was Mike Griffiths (Newcastle AC) who won in 71.12.
He was followed in 2009 by Ben Gamble (Stone MM) who took the crown in 69.12.
Gamble switched clubs to Tipton Harriers and became the first athlete to win back to back Stafford races, retaining the title in 2010 in a new course record time of 68.52.
The following year, Tipton clubmate Phil Nichollas smashed the course record, clocking 65.33 and 12 months ago, Mark Dalkins (Telford AC) won in 70.58.
