AFTER a successful first season in the South East Staffs Women’s League, Milford Hall CC have shown their commitment to the ladies game by also entering a side in the Women’s Midlands League for 2013.

There is scope for players of all abilities to get involved. The South East Staffs League, now in its second season, is an eight-a-side midweek league, designed to give ladies and girls an introduction to cricket.
For many of those involved last year it was the first time they had ever played the game.
The Women’s Midlands League is a more established competition and the Milford team will be putting their skills to the test against teams such as Forton and Cannock in division 2 North West.
The new season opens on Sunday, May 12 with a trip to Penn. It is hoped that joining this league will attract some ladies with previous experience to join Milford.
Ladies and girls of all ages are welcome to join, with no previous experience necessary. Contact Chris Elsley on 07929 789267 for further details.
