THERE was still no joy for North West Counties premier basement side Stone Dominoes this week.
They entertained fellow strugglers Ashton Athletic but finished on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline.
Both teams cancelled each other out in a goalless first half, with Arron Johns going close for Dominoes. On the stroke of half-time Ashton were reduced to ten men after having a player red carded.
After Johns missed an early second half chance, Ashton broke the deadlock through Justin Yun, before Connor Gately made it 2-0.
Dominoes conceded a penalty and were reduced to ten men on 80 minutes and Ashton converted the resultant spot kick.
Dave Hymes wrapped up the scoring for Ashton in the final minute, leaving Dominoes ten points off safety. This Saturday they visit Winsford (3pm).
