Chasing down the top three are White Eagle, six points down on the Penny, with Joiners B and Kings Arms are further two points adrift.
In division two, Amasal have a four- point advantage over second place The Sun. The former also have a match in hand.
Highfields B’s lead at the top of the Stafford Monday Crib league table was cut to two points last week.
They suffered their third defeat, while second place Dormans closed the gap. The trio of Radford 2, Highfields A and White Eagle are all locked on 16 points.
