Rangers look to extend unbeaten run

STAFFORD Rangers will be out to extend their unbeaten league run to six games when entertaining FC United of Manchester on Tuesday night (Sept 18), kick-off 7.45pm.

On Saturday, Rangers chalked up their opening away win of the campaign, running out 3-2 victors at Worksop Town.

Rangers opened the scoring through Michael Carr early on, but Worksop hit back to take a 2-1 interval advantage with two goals in a four minute spell.

Around the hour mark, Karl Espley levelled for the visitors, before striker Danny Quinn converted from the spot to earn Rangers all three points with ten minutes to go.

After the visit of FC United, the Boro head for Gresley FC in the FA Cup second qualifying round on Saturday (3pm). In the previous round, Rangers defeated Midland Alliance outfit Stourport Swifts 2-1 in a replay at Marston Road.
