RILEYS Cue are the latest winners of the Stan Bent pool team knockout trophy.
The defending champions retained the silverware with a 4-2 success against Joiners Arms A.
In the semi-finals, the Cue made hard work of defeating division two winners Rileys Dogs 4-2, while newly crowned champions Rileys C, unbeaten in 24 matches, bowed out by the same score at the hands of Joiners A.
The final saw Rob Wharne open with a victory over Kev Brown, before Paul Shepherd levelled.
Dave Barker restored the lead for the Cue with a win against Tim Teece, only for Daz Waters to bring the scores level again.
At this stage, victories by Dave Whitfield and Wharne sealed victory for the Cuemen.
It completed a hat-trick of consecutive Stan Bent wins for Rileys Cue. On the night there were three 8-ball clearances.
In the final of the Winter Subsidiary team knockout, Oxleathers C emerged 4-2 winners over second division Rileys.
Keiran Johnson gave Rileys an early advantage, before Jonathon Lowe and Tom Vernon struck back for Oxleathers.
Shaun Cooper levelled the scores, only for Charlie Grant and John Lee Marshall to respond and clinch victory for the third division team.
