Riverway throw away three goal lead

Riverway FC threw away a 3-0 advantage in a nine goal thriller away to Mahal, in West Midlands Two this week.

Jay Arnold opened the scoring for Riverway and Matt Rhodes added a

 

second on 17 minutes. Just before the break, Riverway made it 3-0 through Thomas Duffy.

After the restart, Mahal struck back with three goals in quick succession, They made it 4-3 on 82 minutes, before Riverway levelled in the final minute through Duffy.

The game was into stoppage time when Mahal struck the winner. This Saturday, Riverway visit table toppers Ledbury Town.
