Leading scorer Jon Allchin opened the scoring for Stone with an excellent goal, beating several players before shooting powerfully into the roof of the net.
Stone captain and playmaker Matthew Holmes also netted for the Enson Lane side in the first half, but only to level the scores at 2-2.
In the second period, Stone keeper Mark Azram made some outstanding saves to keep Stone in the game, before the home side emerged victors when a clinical finish from Allchin, from a short corner, secured the win.
