AFTER a nightmare start, Stone Ladies HC thirds struck back to defeat Barton seconds, in the Staffs League.
The Enson Lane side conceded in the first minute against the newly crowned division four champions.
But Stone bounced back in style and made it 1-1 at the break.
In the second half they netted two further goals, one of them from Sue Gallow, to cap an excellent season.
Stone thirds have remained unbeaten at home this term and could still go up if Barton beat Cannock in a final game.
