It was the Enson Lane side’s best win of the season over their fellow strugglers.

Stone began the match with only ten players and played with great discipline.

Ten minutes into the game Stone were awarded a short corner and Tracey Moir made no mistake when finding the net.

Reinforcements arrived as Emily Obhrai and Sarah Lamburn joined the Stone squad.

As Leek tired in the second half, Stone took full advantage and ran in five further goals.

Stone’s superior fitness showed as all the goals arrived in open play and Moir completed her hat- trick.

Emma Dutton supported with a well taken brace, while Helen Yorke made it six of the best.

The next challenge for Stone seconds is a tough clash against promotion- chasing Uttoxeter seconds this weekend.

In division four, Stone thirds picked up a hard earned point in a 1-1 draw with second place Cannock fifths. Stone now need to defeat Wolves to ensure they finish in third spot.
