FOUR members of Stone Master Marathoners headed to Belgium last week to compete in the annual Flanders Field Marathon.
Leading home the local contingent was Steve Parker in a time of 3 hours 29.05 minutes.
He was followed by Bernie Priekulis in 3:46.31, Jim Holland 3:53.06 and Kim Humphreys 4:22.04.
The club were also well represented in Sunday’s annual St Thomas’ seven mile race.
A total of 13 runners turned out in the red vests of Stone MM and first across the line for the club was Tom Wilson in a good time of 47.12.
He was followed by Graham Moorhouse 52.17, Steve Brookes 53.46, Steve Alder 54.54, Humphreys 55.18, Richard Shaw 55.54.
Nick Boulton 60.01, Lacey Walker 60.54, Phil Cooke 61.06, Rachel Cooke 61.32, Julie Griffiths 67.40, Margaret Shaw 70.07 and Joyce Edwards 72.05.
