THE Mid Staffs Junior Football League is looking to recruit three adult supervisors to look after mini soccer sessions.

Sunday morning football takes place at Rowley Park, Cardinal Griffin School (Cannock) and the Monckton Centre (Penkridge) for under-7s, under-8s and under-9s.
“Each of these centres are owned by three different authorities and as such each has different requirements,” said league chairman Mike Barnard who, along with Bob Garside, has been running these sessions for the past 15 years.
“We are trying to encourage three responsible adults to act as a supervisor at each centre. This, we believe, would appeal to parents or a grandparent whose children may have played over the years,” said Barnard.
Anyone interested in taking up one of these positions, just for a couple of hours a week, should contact Mike on 01785 661999 or 07909 997922.
