STAFFORD Triathlon Club’s veteran team finished 24th in the Club Championships held at The National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham.
VETERAN RUNNER...Places in 10K awards
The local club sent five teams to the event, including the quartet of Jen Seager, Reg Swallow, Mark Withington and Stuart Harrison.
They competed with 200 other mixed teams, all of whom had to complete a 500m swim, 12km bike and a 5km run.
The finished in a combined time of 3 hours 24 minutes and were the first Stafford club team home.
