ANGLER John Wild was a clear winner of a midweek competition at Izaak Walton Fishery last week.
He was one of ten who fished the top pool and emerged the winner with a catch weighing 174lb 9oz.
Wild won from Chris Jones (Crewe Carp and Match) 116lb 12oz, Chris Robson (IW) 94lb 13oz, Ray Young (IW) 88lb 6oz.
Victory at IWF on Saturday went to Darren Heath (IW) with 101lb 4oz, ahead of Steve Roberts (Oakengates) 98lb 12oz, Chris Robson (Bilston AC) 96lb 14oz and Dave Coleman (Northwood Inn) with 71lb 4oz.
