Young Rangers rampant as they carve out nine goals

STAFFORD Rangers under-16s were in a rampant mood in their latest Potteries league fixture.

The young Boro outfit visited AFC Alsager in the league cup and progressed to the next stage with an emphatic 9-1 victory.

Inflicting the damage for Rangers were Jordan Holland (three), Jack Rowley (two), Keiron Owen, Jack Turnock, Rhys Protheroe and Ryan Baxter.

In the Mid Staffs Junior league, Rangers Stripes under-12s hit back from two goals down to defeat Penkridge Panthers 4-3.

On the mark for Rangers were Alex Shanley, Joe Littledyke, Chris Hickey and Luke Hill.

Meanwhile, Rangers u17s made it nine successive league wins with a 7-0 victory at Alex Soccer Centre.

Rangers were again in superb form and the goals flowed from Sam Golden (four), Alex Curtis (two) and Alex Hannan.
