School joined 90 other aspiring young athletes at the sixth Youth Sport Trust’s National Talent Camp at Loughborough for four days.

The aim of the camp was to provide young people with an insight into the world of performance sport and build their understanding of the harsh reality of the demands and commitment required to be an elite performer.

Youngsters were supported by Hannah Cockcroft, a double Paralympic gold medallist at London 2012.

“It was fantastic to see everyone learning from each other and trying different sports,” said Cockcroft.

“The National Training Camp is a great opportunity to form new friendships and these talented young athletes have a great opportunity to get a taste of what it takes to be an elite performer.”
