STAFFORDSHIRE youth darts team continued their unbeaten run this season with an 11-4 victory over Cheshire.
The outcome matched the score when the two teams met early in the season, with Staffs winning all three sections, un- 18s, under-21s and ladies.
Respective player of the match awards went to the trio of Dan Williams, Tom Moult and Jo Ashby.
It was also announced during the match that three Staffs players, Callum Matthews, Dan Key and Williams had been shortlisted for the England Youth darts team which will be competing in the World Cup in Canada later this year.
n The Stafford Darts League annual meeting takes place at the Amasal Club on Tuesday, March 19, start 8pm.
Applications to join the summer league, which begins on April 10, are invited at this meeting.
