A RESTAURANT boss is helping Stafford pupils raise cash for a trip to help underprivileged children abroad.

Abdul Shahed, who runs Stafford Balti, will host a meal for 50 parents and friends of

pupils from Blessed William Howard School on Monday night.

He will donate half the profits from the meal to the school and will do the same with any other customers’ orders on Monday to help boost the fund-raising.

Mr Shahed said: “The pupils approached me and I thought it was so good that they wanted to do something like that. They are hoping to raise £400. If anyone wants to book a table for Monday night please do and I will donate half the cost to the pupils.”
