HEAVY Metal music fans are throwing their weight behind the Support Stafford Hospital protest camp.

The Stafford-based internet radio station Midlandsmetalheads.com is the latest media outlet to report from the protest camp.

Radio station boss and DJ Ozzie Maidenfield visited the camp on Friday to record a half-hour programme about the campaign to prevent hospital services being moved out of the county town.

And a group of the campers got together to record a jingle for the radio station.
