STAFFORD Hospital says it will work with regulators as they prepare for the trust to be put into administration.

Health watchdog Monitor announced today they are consulting on the possibility of dissolving the trust and putting a special administrator in charge.

Professor John Caldwell, chairman of Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We have accepted for some time that the trust working alone cannot produce a long-lasting solution to the issues we face to ensure financial and clinical sustainability.

“We will continue to work with our regulators and commissioners to deliver the services they require to our local community.”

Well congratulations Julie Bailey you have got what you wanted the Hospital will close. WAKE up Stafford is this really what you want too ? For over 3 years not daily knocking the hospital has resulted in few people wanting to go there and the situation of ; would you want to work there ?. Its about time we listen to the 1000's of people treated every month and not just one single person with ZERO medical or hospital background
