STAFFORD MP Jeremy Lefroy has secured a parliamentary debate on the proposals presented this week by administrators at Stafford Hospital.

The 30-minute debate will take place on Tuesday January 7 and will be broadcast live at www.parliamentary.tv.

“I am delighted that I have been able to secure this debate,” said Mr Lefroy. “It will give an important opportunity, after reflection over the Christmas period, to respond to the report from the TSAs and ensure the voice of Stafford constituents is heard loud and clear by ministers in Westminster.

“I will be visiting staff and patients at Stafford Hospital on Christmas day and will be listening carefully to everyone’s views on the latest proposals before the debate to ensure the voices of those most directly affected by the plans are heard by ministers.”

Anyone who wishes to attend the debate in person is advised to contact Mr Lefroy’s Westminster office on 020 7219 7154.
