Stafford Rangers 3 Meir KA 1

STAFFORD Rangers Youth under-18s successfully completed part two of a possible treble this season when lifting the Sentinel Cup on Thursday night.

Several of the young Boro squad found themselves on first team duty in the Evo-Stik this season and they came from behind to sink Meir, at the Britannia Stadium.

It was another impressive performance by the Marston Road youngsters who fell behind on 18 minutes when Josh Davies put Meir KA ahead.

But before the interval Rangers had struck back with two goals in as many minutes through Harry Wightman and Jack Edwards to lead at the break.

Within three minutes of the restart, substitute Dan Nowell made it 3-1.

Rangers will now hope to wrap up an impressive treble, having won the County Minor Youth League title, when they face Nantwich Town, at Stone Dominoes ground on Sunday (2pm) in the league cup final.
