STAFFORD Rangers manager Graham Heathcote will almost certainly turn to youth again when the Evo-Stik Premier strugglers visit Matlock Town on Saturday.

On Monday, Rangers once again included youth team player Alex Curtis in their starting line-up as the Marston Road club bowed out of the Staffs Senior Cup at the quarter final stage.

In addition, three fellow youth team players were named on the sub bench and Alex Hannan, Jack Edwards and Tom Vaughan all made second haf appearances.

Rangers bowed out of the competition on penalties after Curtis had earned a 1-1 draw after extra-time.

The Boro, who are a massive 18 points off safety in third from bottom spot, with only ten games to play, will be looking to end the season on a far brighter note, starting with the Matlock trip.

Between now and the end of March they have five matches, following up the weekend fixture with a tough visit to play-off chasing FC United of Manchester on Tuesday night.

Other fixtures this month are: 22 v Worksop Town (h), 25 v Grantham (a) and 29 v Buxton (a).
