STAFFORD Rangers boss Andy Mutch has started to re-shape his squad after two further defeats since taking charge of the Marston Road club on a permanent basis at the beginning of the month.
After the 5-0 midweek drubbing at Worksop Town in the league, Rangers visited lower league Coalville Town (Evo Stik division one South) and crashed out 3-2.
Prior to the cup game, Mutch released two players, midfielder Christian Dacres and defender Lucan Spittle.
The Boro boss also confirmed the signings of Joe Guest and Ed Toner, both of whom made their home debuts in the recent home match against Matlock Town.
On Tuesday night (Oct 22), second bottom Rangers face a crucial home league clash against Stamford, who are two places above, (7.45pm).
Stamford are currently nine points clear of Rangers and have won three matches at home, but just one away in six.
Rangers, who have lost their last four league and cup games, will be looking to improve on a league record that only shows one win in 13 games.
