FOLLOWING another successful season Stafford Rangers U12’s have seen yet another player leave the club to sign up with a Premier League team.
Goalkeeper Bradley Foster-Theniger this week signed a two year contract with Stoke City after they beat West Bromwich Albion to his signature.
Bradley joined Rangers in October 2013 having seen him move from local team Berkswich. He went on to help Stafford capture the Lichfield League Premiership title and the League Cup, also this season saw him score his first ever league goal from the penalty spot.
Manager Tim Turner said: "It’s always nice to see players move on to academy teams knowing that they will receive the best training available which will include one day release from school.
"Brad has worked so hard during his short time with the club and we all wish him the very best of luck for the future.
"It also proves that as a junior club we are moving in the right direction which is attracting the attention of local league teams as this is now the third player to leave us for local league sides over the past few seasons."
Rangers are now looking for a new goalkeeper for next season which will see them compete in the Saturday morning Midland Junior Premier League.
