STAFFORD Rangers will open their defence of the Walsall Senior Cup (WSC) with a home tie.
The Boro have been paired with Sutton Coldfield Town in the second round, after receiving a first round bye. A date has yet to be confirmed for the game, although all ties are scheduled for week commencing November 4.
It was in May that Rangers lifted the Walsall Senior Cup with a 2-1 victory over Walsall FC, at the Bescot Stadium.
Other WSC second round ties are, Brocton v Romulus or Wolverhampton Casuals, Tividale v Pelsall Villa, Heath Hayes v Rushall Olympic, Chasetown v Sporting Khalsa, Bilston Town v Walsall FC, Bolehall Swifts or Boldmere St Michaels v Tipton Town, Lichfield City v Walsall Wood.
Just two ties have still to be decided in the Staffs Senior Cup, with Rangers at home to the winners of next month’s clash between Walsall Wood and Port Vale in the quarter finals.
Other ties are, Rushall Olympic v Chasetown, Norton United v Kidsgrove or Rocester, Newcastle Town v Hednesford Town.
