LOCAL businesses who aimed high at a charity clay pigeon shoot near Stafford managed to pull in £5,000.
The event at Oakedge Shooting Ground was organised by Stafford’s ORJ Solicitors to raise funds for the Stafford Mayor’s Charity Appeal, which is this year in aid of Stafford and District Bereavement and Loss Support Service, Homestart Stafford and Staffordshire Women’s Aid.
Stafford’s TC Interiors won the competition and took home the ORJ Shooting Stars trophy.
ORJ Relationship Director Tom Hodgkinson said: “All the competitors seemed to enjoy the event.
"We were delighted that the occasion raised £5,000 for the Mayor’s Charity Appeal.”
