LEADING doctors in Stafford are urging local people to help shape the future of their health services by attending a series of listening events.

A Call to Action is part of a national debate to make the NHS fit for the future and able to cope with the demands of an ageing population, changing patterns of ill-health, funding pressures and public expectations and will focus on what is best for residents of Stafford, Cannock Chase and the surrounding areas.

The events run by Stafford and Surrounds Clinical Commissioning Group will take place between 1pm and 3pm and 6pm and 8pm at Rising Brook Baptist Church in Stafford on Monday Jan 27, at Lea Hall Working Men’s Club in Rugeley on Wednesday January 29, between 10am and 1pm at Luke’s Church in Cannock on Saturday 8th February and between 10am and noon at South Staffordshire Council Offices, Codsall on Wednesday March 12.
