Stafford historian handed a local history award for his contribution to the William Salt Library

STAFFORD historian Randle Knight has been handed a British Association for Local History award in recognition of his contribution to local history. For 45 years he has been involved with the William Salt Library in Stafford, as a Trustee and volunteer, under taking several important cataloguing projects to improve public accessibility to the collections. He is voluntary curator of Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum and also serves as chairman of the Staffordshire Record Society.
