A WINDOW commemorating Stafford-born David Rathband and another police officer has been unveiled.

It was installed at a boxing club in Stoke where PC Rathband attended a charity event which raised £38,000 for his Blue Lamp Foundation.

The window has been installed in memory of PC Dave Beech, who died in a house fire earlier this year, and PC Rathband who was shot in the face by gunman Raoul Moat in Northumberland in 2010.

Family and friends of the two gathered to watch Ch Supt Martin Evans perform the unveiling.
