Stafford's Post Office is to open for four hours every Sunday as part of plans to make Post Office services more easily accessible for customers.
Stafford Post Office, based on the first floor of WHSmith, in Greengate Street, opens from 11am to 3pm every Sunday from this week, meaning the branch is now open seven days a week.
John Dutton, head of the Post Office’s WHSmith branches, said "We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to access our services. More and more of our branches are opening for longer and we're delighted that customers can now visit our Stafford branch seven days a week."
The Post Office is currently undertaking a multi-million pound investment programme across its branch network. Over 1,800 branches have already been modernised, offering around 50,000 extra hours of service every week, including Saturday and Sunday opening times.
