JEREMY LEFROY: The MP is holding an advice surgery tomorrow from 10am to 12 noon at the Stafford Conservative Association, Castle Street. No appointment necessary.


WALTON MUSIC CIRCLE: Members are meeting on Tuesday in Walton Village Hall at 7.15pm. Chris Otley from Stafford is the evening’s guest and the recital is entitled ‘From Whence They Came’. BERKSWICH METHODIST CHURCH: Services on Sunday are at 10am with Reverend Peter Powers and 6.30pm with Dr Mark Timothy. The next meeting of the church council is on Monday in church starting at 7.45pm. Any items for the agenda should be sent to Margaret Hale e-mail mjh@graftonhome.me.uk.


ST NICHOLAS CHURCH: The recent Ceilidh Evening was attended by 107 people and the total raised including raffles and auctions was £1255 for church funds.


STAFFORD KNOT SPINNERS: Members meet on Tuesday in the village hall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Crafts covered are hand spinning, knitting, crochet, dyeing, weaving and textiles in general. For more details please contact Sharon Hartwell on 0175 248009.
