THE trust providing mental health services in Stafford has scored above average for the standard of its buildings.
South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, which runs St George’s Hospital, scored well in a number of the categories in the patient-led assessment of the care environment programme.
It scored 96.59 per cent for cleanliness.
Food and hydration were also above the national average.
St George’s was assessed as well maintained, clean, tidy and welcoming.
Suggested improvements included new blinds, repairs to flooring and painting.
