A STALWART staff member at Stafford Hospital waved goodbye to colleagues today, retiring after 37 years working at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust and at the old infirmary before that.

Linda Hardwick from Stone has worked as a secretary at the trust since 1976.

She said: “I have seen a lot of changes since I started in X-Ray in 1976.

“I will really miss my colleagues in nuclear medicine and everyone else I know at the hospital.” It’s been a big part of my life.”
