STONE RECORDED MUSIC SOCIETY: Tomorrow evening in the building behind Walton Community Centre for 7.30pm start. The evening is titled Christmas and is members’ choice. This evening concludes the recitals for 2013 and the group will next meet in 2014 on January 10.

STONE ADVENT WINDOWS: Every day a shop window display has been unveiled with the theme of Christmas Carols. There has been a record partnership between shops, schools and other organisations in the community, and there are still windows to unveil until December 24th. They will then remain on display until January 2. Look at the list in the library to see which windows are still to be opened.

CHRISTMAS EVE CALENDAR CAROL-SINGING CRAWL: Starting at Lock Keeper’s Cottage on Stafford Street at 9.30am, join in as the group sings their way through the Calendar and up the High Street. At 11am you will arrive at Christ Church in time for the opening of the final window after which mince pies and other refreshments will be served in Christ Church Centre.

GUIDE DOGS FOR THE BLIND: Wooliscrofts Solicitors at 51 High Street have kindly agreed to accept donations of used postage stamps, please ensure there is a border of envelope around each stamp.
