INTREPID darts players are taking on a marathon match in Stone to help an Eccleshall mum with a dehabilitating brain condition.

A ladies’ darts team from the Talbot is taking on their counterparts at The Pheasant from 10.30am to 10.30pm today.

Everyone is invited to the Old Road pub to support the marathon effort, which will also include a raffle and a competition to guess the final score.

Funds are being raised in aid of teacher Claire Hubbard, who is hoping to fly to the USA for pioneering treatment for her intracranial hypotension.
