THE STAGE is set for Theatre Ingestre’s annual open air musical which opens on Wednesday (13).
Fiddler on the Roof will feature a cast from near and far including stars of previous years Julia Waterfall from Loughborough and Andrew Ridal from Cumbria.
Taking the lead roles, these two well established performers are no strangers to the outdoor stage at Ingestre, having appeared in all of the productions staged there since the group was formed.
They are joined this year by Mura Love from Gisbon in New Zealand who is travelling to Ingestre to be part of the show.
Having heard about the productions from UK-based New Zealand Olympic three day event rider, Andrew Bennie, Mura expressed an interest in coming over to take part and willingly accepted the invitation to play the Constable in this year’s show.
No stranger to either stables or the stage, Mura is a deputy head of a school and is regularly involved in stage productions. In his spare time he is an international judge of horses. Fiddler on the roof runs for four nights from Wednesday (13) and is run in aid of MacMillan Nurses. Further details are available at www.ingestre.com.
