A BEER festival will return to a village near Stafford on Saturday after its debut proved a roaring success.

Weston Village Hall’s inaugural festival almost ran out of beer last year, so organisers are offering a wider selection of ales from the Titanic brewery this weekend.

Festival goers are advised to arrive early however to ensure they get their hands on a a limited edition commemorative glass.

From 2pm until late there will be 15 ales, four ciders, international lager and wine to sample as well as children’s entertainment, open mic, acoustic sessions and live music in the evening from Massive Surfboard. Local firm Fire and Slice will serve up rustic artisan street food to accompany the drinks.
