PUPILS at St Andrew's School, Weston have been going Snorgh crazy with a special book week.

The school has celebrated the end of SATS tests by organising a special week to explore popular children's story The Snorgh And The Sailor, the tale of a friendly monster who lives on an island.

All seven classes at the primary school have been involved in creating artwork and cartoon strips based on the story, designing boats for the Snorgh, drawing maps of his island and even using the tale as the basis of maths projects.

"We have had Snorgh mania around here," said headmaster Paul Hayward.
