Danny O'Donoghue 'excited' by The Voice
Danny O'Donoghue is "excited" more people are listening to The Script since he joined 'The Voice'.
The Irish singer appears alongside Sir Tom Jones, Jessie J and will.i.am as a mentor on the BBC One talent search show, and he has begun to be recognised more since he agreed to appear on the series.
He said: "Until now, The Script have been a relatively faceless band. I'm excited that the broader public are getting to know the band through the show."
Danny, 31, admitted he likes to joke with Tom about their age difference and career success while he's on the show.
He added in an interview with LOOK magazine: "I wouldn't mistake youth for inexperience. Everything I've worked for in the last 15 years has put me in a position where I don't feel scared.
"Tom was 40 was I born and I remind him of that at every opportunity. Then he reminds me of the 40 million more records he has sold!"
