Liam Hemsworth gets Paranoia
Liam Hemsworth will play the lead role in Robert Luketic's espionage thriller 'Paranoia'.
The 'Hunger Games' actor - who is dating teen star Miley Cyrus - has signed up to the movie, an adaptation of the Joseph Finder novel, which is also likely to star Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford, who are in advanced negotiations.
Deadline.com reports the most recent draft of the screenplay has been created by Jason Hall, after the first one written by 'Vantage Point's Barry Levy.
Liam will play a man named Adam Cassidy who becomes a personal assistant to Harrison's character in the film, which is set in the world of "telecom giants".
Shooting is expected to begin later this summer.
Liam - whose brother is 'Thor' actor Chris Hemsworth - began his acting career on Australian soap opera 'Home and Away' before moving onto 'Neighbours' where he played Josh Taylor.
He has a number of projects coming up, including the 'Huger Games' sequel 'Catching Fire' and 'The Expendables 2' where he stars alongside Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone.
